- Guidance on the informed selection of relevant in vivo mouse models for ALS
- Discussion of the scientific rationale for key study design elements — including model selection (e.g., SOD1, TDP-43, C9orf72 models), endpoint and biomarker selection, timing of dosing relative to disease onset, and incorporation of the Envision platform
- Common pitfalls in preclinical ALS study execution including copy number variation affecting phenotypes, the impact of the genetic background on the expression of the phenotypes, and managing terminal tissue collection in strains with short survival
