During this webinar, we will provide a refresher on fundamental principles of mouse genetics, focusing on the application of Mendelian genetics in controlled breeding strategy design. Attendees will learn how to utilize Punnett squares to predict genotype distributions, ensuring appropriate experimental and control group sizes for upcoming studies. Additionally, we will explore methodologies for designing and optimizing breeding schemes to generate both simple and complex genetic models incorporating multiple alleles.
